About me

My name is AlisoniWooder. I've been working as an ESL/ELT teacher, teacher trainer and writer for the last 20 years. I've written or co-written 15 books, mostly for primary and secondary level ESL in China. I've also recently co-authored a book on collocations (pictured right) published by A&C Black, a UK publisher. I also write and design course materials for chains of language schools as co-founder of a company called ELTpublishing.

This site is based on a collection of around 300 jokes with supporting grammar and vocabulary exercises that I've built up for my own teaching over the past few years. Perhaps they will form a book one day, but in the meantime I'm putting a selection of them here.
